Coventry & North Warwickshire Cricket Club was established in 1851. Our ground at Binley Road boasts some of the best facilities in the county. The club owns its own grounds and clubhouse which are held in trust for the members by four trustees.
Our Squash section was formed in 1935 and as the club is in the unique position of being owned and run by the members. This creates a special type of atmosphere of which we are very proud.
The club has for many years, retained the services of a professional coach, which is one of the reasons why it has been so successful over many years, providing players at all levels for the Midlands Teams.
We pride ourselves on developing players from young beginners to national level. Coaching is available for new beginners or experienced players from our coach Mo Sarwar who is one of the
highest qualified coaches in the country.
We have 6 well maintained traditional courts at our disposal which can all be viewed from above.
We have our own clubhouse, which is shared with our cricket, tennis and leisure members. Our licensed bar stocks alcoholic beverages, and snacks. We also have a kitchen area for match day meal preparation and bar meals. There are also comfortable seating areas with a wide-screen television, the club honours boards, trophy cabinets and club notice boards.
Mick and Deb Blyth are the managing couple responsible for running all aspects of the bar, catering and function rooms. The function rooms are available throughout the year and bookings can be taken from members for their own parties or on behalf of friends or family. Catering can be provided at any level from buffets to full silver service. Capacity 150 seated or 150 standing.
The club shop is run by our club professional Mo Sarwar who provides a racquet re-stringing service as well as a full range of rackets, shoes, bags, balls, grips etc. all available at discount prices.
